Meeting 2013

It has been my 3rd time now that I never spend new year's celebration with my family. I've been here in Thailand for that long..But even now, i am not still used to it. I still miss them much especially that we usually have a family reunion every 31st of December and always meet the new year as family with our relatives in my mother's side.

But in spite of it, i do still manage to celebrate new year. Am thankful that my younger sister is with me and blessed to have friends here in Thailand. It lessen my home-sick moments.

So glad to be invited by Genebie, one of my friends here. We joined in their new year's eve celebration. Had so much fun in going to the Hatyai City Count Down for the year 2013 with her whole family and of course, i loved the food they set and prepared for that occasion. ...yumm..yummmy..thank you so much for letting us join with you guys!

After waiting for the clock to strike at 12 mid and then shouting "happy new year" with a lot of people in Lee Garden (the tourist destination and central part of the city) where the count down was held, we ate again and watched a Korean movie, then slept at 4 a.m...:) i did really have a great time in welcoming and meeting the year 2013

One of the things that made me more excited on any parties or celebration like this, is the dressing up.. :) I love to find clothes that would make me more comfortable and make me more chic to look at. I don't really have that luxury to buy expensive clothes, if ever i buy one, i usually look at the price first..lol..and most of the time, i only use my old clothes but tried to add some accent to it so it would look different..:))

Last Christmas Party, we had the motif of red and green. But during the New Year's celebration, we just let go of having uniformity and decided to have a free style..any color and any style will do!

I decided to wear my above-the knee-blue dress paired with my flat blue shoes. The clothes seemed to be big for me, so i used black belt on it.

After posting this picture, i heard that blue is one of the best color for this year..:)) i didn't know that. I just picked this clothes coz i like it, and coz im a fanatic of BLUE! :)
